The first opus in a series about the sacred, Gloria awakens to the resonance of the sublime in itself by combining technology, spirituality and classical singing.In an intimate and sensory 360-degree theatre made up of screens placed around the audience, Mykalle Bielinski, reigning supreme in the centre of the stage, offers a polyphonic work intertwined with dizzying video projections. Her singing—a collage of western liturgical chants and folk songs in six languages accompanied by faint electro music—invites quiet meditation and contemplation. Audiences experience a form of enthralment that connects them to a deep mythic temporality, opening their minds to realities greater than themselves. Impressive and avant-garde, Gloria conquers the hearts of audiences everywhere it is performed.
